Ocular damage after blunt trauma to the eye. Its relationship to the nature of the injury

Abstract

108 patients were studied after blunt trauma to the eye; the resulting ocular damage is related to the site and nature of the impact. The factors involved in such complications as secondary hyphema, uveitis and abnormal intraocular pressure, and retinal damage are discussed.
