Abstract

This article addresses the importance of fundamental human rights and the need to ensure legal and social support for women during the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. For this, a bibliographic survey was carried out in which historical questions about human rights and the socio-historical configuration of women were analyzed, in which, it is directly linked to the patriarchal structure and has domestic violence as one of its expressions in society. It is concluded that in the middle of the pandemic, due to social isolation, there is an increase in the vulnerability of the female gender, resulting in an increase in cases of physical and psychological aggression in the family environment, making it essential to reinforce public policies and the support network. responsible for facing and protecting women in vulnerable conditions. Thus, this article aims to analyze the coping with the social demands of women during the pandemic and, for this, the bibliographic survey was used as a procedure to obtain data, being, therefore, a research with an exploratory and qualitative approach.O presente artigo, aborda a importância dos Direitos Humanos fundamentais e a necessidade em assegurar o amparo jurídico e social à mulher em meio a pandemia de COVID-19 no Brasil. Para isso, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico onde foram analisadas as questões históricas acerca dos direitos humanos e a configuração sócio-histórica da mulher, na qual, está diretamente ligada à estrutura patriarcal e tem como uma de suas expressões na sociedade, a violência doméstica. Conclui-se que em meio a pandemia, devido ao isolamento social, há o agravamento da vulnerabilidade do gênero feminino, resultando no aumento dos casos de agressões físicas e psicológicas no meio familiar, tornando-se essencial reforçar as políticas públicas e a rede de apoio responsável pelo enfrentamento e amparo da mulher em condição de vulnerabilidade. Desse modo, este artigo possui como objetivo analisar o enfretamento às demandas sociais da mulher em meio a pandemia e para tal, utilizou-se como procedimento para obtenção de dados, o levantamento bibliográfico, sendo, portanto, uma pesquisa de abordagem exploratória e qualitativa.
