Abstract

The Enzootic bovine leukosis was first described more than 100 years in\rEurope. It's an RNA virus belonging to the Retroviridae family, and the viral\rparticle spherical and covered by projections of surface glycoproteins, and did\rnot remain viable for long outside the host organisms. It has universal impact\rshowing regional differences as to its prevalence. Infect mainly by dairy cattle\rcolostrum, tracheal secretions and fomites, and is not transmitted by\rexcrements or urine. It is a disease characterized by the appearance of\rlymphosarcoma in the adult animal depending on genetic and environmental\rfactors for disease severity.
