Abstract

This paper proposes parallel asynchronous versions of promising multiobjective evolutionary algorithms, implemented over a network of personal computers, with the aim of designing an optimal telecommunication network in the presence of multiple conflicting objectives as cost and performance. The resulting tool provides a set of Pareto optimal solutions, facilitating the decision making process of designing a telecommunication network with a mix of different technologies.
