Abstract
We argue that the relative yields of Υ states observed at the Large Hadron Collider can be understood as bottomonium states coming to thermal equilibrium and then freezing out before the medium. The bottomonium freezeout temperature is approximately 220 MeV. We examine its systematics as a function of centrality. We remark on the interesting differences recorded by the CMS and ALICE experiments in the charmonium sector. © 2014 American Physical Society.
