Abstract

Relationships between mathematical competence and mathematics teaching innovation do emerge the need for new practices of mathematics teaching. One of the aspects of this new practice is the interaction patterns in the classroom characterizing the mathematical discourse. From these perspectives, the relation between innovation and new mathematics practices defines different contexts for professional development of mathematics teacher.
