Abstract
Quercetin can be use as alternative active agent for antiacne and antiaging becouse it can inhibits the growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes, and had antioxidant activity at 0.05%. Peel-off facial mask has the advantage over the other types, it can lifted or removed as an elastic membrane easily. The aim of this study was to determine effect of concentration variations of gelatin and gliserine to quercetine peel-off facial mask physicochemical properties. Concentration variations of gelatin were 10%, 15% dan 20%. Concentration variations of gliserine were 2%, 6% dan 12%. Evaluation of quercetine peel-off facial mask dosage form were organolepthical properties (colour, consistence, odor), drying-time, viscocity, pH, homogenity, spreading and adhesion strength. The data was analysed use Design Expert 8.0.7. with factorial Design and Kruskal Wallis test. The results showed that the concentration variations of gelatin and glycerine significantly affected organolepthical properties, homogeneity, viscosity, drying-time, adhesion and spreading strength(p<0.05). The concentration variations of gelatine and glycerine didn’t significantly affected pH value of peel-off facial mask dosage form (p>0.05). Keyword
