Construcción de comunidad: un 28 de julio en la ciudad de Puerto Madryn

Abstract

This paper will explore the construction of community on July 28th in the official celebration of the Founding of the city of Puerto Madryn, Chubut Province, Argentina. Through the rereading of some conceptual tools of classical sociology, from Weber and Durkheim, we seek to set out the event that commemorates the landing of Welsh in Chubut, considering if it's an expression of multiculturalism or an opening of the identification core of the societal community of the city in the terms of Parsons.
