Abstract

The transmission through a ferromagnetic bilayer of free spin polarized electrons was analyzed. As a result, the physical quantities describing the spin-dependent transport were determined. Furthermore, the incident beam polarization P0 was measured without the need for any external calibration and without relying upon any microscopic model of spin-dependent transport.
