The study of the epidemiology of skin and subcutaneous fat diseases is highly relevant due to their high prevalence, which is region-specific. Objective — the study was aimed at analyzing dermatological diseases in Stavropol Territory during the period from 2010 to 2015. Material and methods. The study was based on the data of the official statistical monitoring of the number of diseases registered in the Stavropol region, using mathematical and descriptive methods of statistical analysis. Results. The results showed increase in the incidence of contact dermatitis by 43.3%, other dermatoses — by 118.2%, psoriasis — by 36.6%. Decrease in the incidence was observed for localized scleroderma (by 42.4%), discoid lupus erythematosus (by 16.2%), and other skin diseases. There was decrease in the incidence of newly diagnosed localized scleroderma (by 60%), atopic dermatitis (by 52.3%), arthropathic psoriasis (by 43.2%), discoid lupus erythematosus (44.4%), while there was increase in the incidence of other newly diagnosed dermatoses (by 782.6%), contact dermatitis (33.6%) and psoriasis (8.2%). There was 5.3-fold increase in the proportion of other dermatoses among all newly diagnosed cases of skin diseases, while in the case of other skin diseases these values decreased. There was also 2.3-fold increase in the proportion of localized scleroderma in the overall pattern of skin diseases and slight increase in the proportion of psoriasis (from 8.5 to 8.6%) and contact dermatitis (from 59 to 61.8%). These values decreased for other skin diseases. The proportion of disabled persons among the dermatological patients increased. Conclusions. During the study period, the incidence of all skin and subcutaneous fat diseases in the Stavropol region increased by a total of 1.1%, while the incidence of newly diagnosed diseases decreased by 0.8%. Contact dermatitis was the most common among skin disease.
