Abstract
The Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) annual meeting provides a forum to present new scientific work with the goal of broader dissemination of knowledge. The objective of this study was to evaluate the proportion of research abstracts presented at SOAP meetings, from 2010 to 2014, which resulted in peer-reviewed publications. The abstract-to-publication rate was compared with the percent of abstracts presented at biomedical meetings resulting in publication, as estimated by a 2007 Cochrane Review.
