Abstract

This paper aims to disclose how Internet technology affects the mental health and positive emotions of college students. The research data were collected through a questionnaire survey among the students from four normal colleges in China, and subjected to big data analysis. Through the analysis, the author put forward the correct understanding of Internet technology, summarized the negative impacts and emotions brought by the Internet technology to college students, and discussed the opportunities and challenges of the Internet technology on mental health education and positive emotion management. The results show that proper application of the Internet technology can effectively solve the mental problems and negative emotions of college students, providing an effective tool to mental counseling. The research results provide a reference for the correct application of the Internet technology in mental health education in the new era.
