Abstract
Information about several topics discussed at the Sex, Money and Media conference held October 2010 at Simon Fraser University on the gender gap in the film and television industry and the lackluster policy responses in Canada is presented. Topics include the status and representation of gender in the creative mediascape and the prevalence of systemic inequities. The conference brought together filmmakers, creative producers others working in the creative industries.
