Abstract

Literature reviews have indicated that thrombotic complications in leukemic patients are rare that prompt diagnosis is very difficult, and that morbidity and mortality are extremely high. We describe the successful treatment of a 36-year-old housewife suffering from chronic myelogenous leukemia with secondary myelofibrosis. © 1991, The Japanese Society of Internal Medicine.
