Abstract

Without a doubt, COVID-19 is an event to mark a before and an after in society. The objective of this research is to know consumer behavior in the textile sector from the perspective of the value chain in the period of the COVID-19 crisis in Ambato province of Tungurahua in 2020. For this research, the descriptive cross-sectional method was used and the survey was applied with closed questions. Within the characteristics of the consumer in front of the textile sector has been the demand in the production and distribution of clothing from his daily living focusing on specific characteristics which make him unique and exclusive at thetime of the decision-making by the textile sector will be it concludes that there are personal factors on the part of consumers that influence the reason for making their purchases.
