Abstract

As part of the 21st Century Robot project, a team from Intel collaborated with three middle school students, helping them design and build their own unique robots. The Web extra at http://youtu.be/HMhQbofhzdo is an audio podcast in which author Brian David Johnson expands on his column, sitting down with Sandy Winkelman, his creative partner and illustrator of the 21st Century Robot stories, to discuss the actual creation of robotic science fiction prototypes.
