Abstract

The article discusses the use of glyburide and metformin in the treatment of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Topics include the treatment of fasting hyperglycemia with glyburide, risk of hypoglycemia in patients undertaking treatment through glyburide, and the efficiency of treating GDM with the combination of both glyburide and metformin.
