On the freshwater crustaceans of the Central Plateau

Abstract

Although the waters of the Central Plateau harbour anumber of interesting planktonic crustaceans, in thesenotes we are primarily concerned with the large macroscopiccrustaceans. Among the non-malacostracan crustaceans,the orders Anostraca, Notostraca, Conchostraca and sub-classBranchiura are not present on the Central Plateau.
