Abstract
This research aimed to analyze the scientific production referring research developed in Brazil regarding populations who live in street context. We focused on articles done by Psychologists along with other professionals published between 2006 and 2015. The library SciELO was used. We identified 31 papers that met the criteria and split them into three categories: (1) family relationships and identity process; (2) experiences, lifestyle and overcoming strategies; (3) public policies, public agents and agencies of psychosocial support. In this paper were analyzed goals, the participants, the results, the conclusions and the recommendations. It was concluded that there are a few expressive number of published articles although they approach the theme from multiple perspectives and areas of knowledge. It is essential to address the issue in an articulated way with issues related to public policies, health and education so that the actions of awareness and social mobilization of civil society, managers and policy makers are effective.
