Abstract

Applicatively, the implementation of education requires costs. In all efforts to achieve educational goals, the cost and financing of education has a very decisive role. The method used is the literature study method, namely by combining data from various literature sources by including books, journals, national proceedings, and scientific articles related to the concept of financing education in an Islamic perspective. Then, analyze and study related theories. The results showed that Islamic education financing is an activity related to obtaining funds received and how to use funds for school benefit so that the educational goals that have been set can run effectively and efficiently. Matin defines that the concept of education costs is all expenses both in the form of money and not money as an expression of the sense of responsibility of all parties, namely the community, parents, and the government towards the development of education so that the goals and ideals that have been determined can be achieved effectively and efficiently. In Islam, the history of financing education for all levels is entirely the responsibility of the state. All education financing, both regarding the salaries of teachers/lecturers, as well as regarding infrastructure and educational facilities and infrastructure, is entirely the obligation of the state.
