One of the requirements for educational products to be said to be feasible and can be used in the classroom is if the product is considered effective based on audience validation. Finding an effectiveness score is important to know how effective the product is in achieving learning objectives. The methodology used in this study is a procedural development model with a 10-step design from Borg and Gall. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the companion textbook product based on Bangkalan local wisdom on the theme of the beauty of diversity in my country. From the results of this study, it was found that as many as 100% of students finished learning after using the developed companion textbook product. This shows that the effectiveness of the product is in the effective criteria so that it is suitable for use in classroom learning. These results are expected to be a reference for teachers and other researchers to innovate the development of companion textbooks on other subjects.
