Abstract
The Online Corpus of the Inscriptions of Ancient North Arabia (OCIANA) was created to make available in a fully searchable online database the texts and translations of all the inscriptions of ancient North Arabia, together with metadata and photographs. Developed in Filemaker Pro, it is consultable both online and as a series of fully searchable pdfs. All known inscriptions from ancient North Arabia have been entered, except the “Thamudic”, which pose particular problems, and will be entered in the next phase of the project.
