Abstract

Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) is an airport built in Temon District, Kulon Progo Regency. At this airport, there are problems, one of which is the distribution of temperature and the operation of the AHU supply lines that have not been maximized, this can be seen from the uneven distribution of temperatures between rooms, one of which is around the Yogyakarta International Airport departure room, especially in the gate 3 waiting room and the concordia lounge room. To find out how to maximize the temperature distribution between rooms around the Yogyakarta International Airport departure hall so that it is more even and provides a sense of comfort for its use. In this study, the authors used a qualitative method, namely a method that explained everything that happened in the field and was oriented towards the phenomenon that occurred as a whole, and the authors used a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats). From this research, a way is obtained to add an automatic damper to the AHU supply line
