Abstract

Time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy with a high-harmonic- generation source is used to classify the potential excitonic insulator 1T-TiSe2 and the reference Peierls-Mott insulator 1T-TaS2 on the basis of the melting times of "spectroscopic order parameters". © Owned by the authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2013.
