Abstract

A model which describes the effect fast guesses must have on observable choice latencies and probabilities is developed, strengthened, and tested with encouraging results. With the model, it is possible to estimate “true” decision times and probabilities without requiring error-free performance in discriminative reaction time. © 1966, Psychonomic Press.
