Abstract

Dysphagia lusoria is an abnormal condition characterized by difficulty in swallowing caused by compression of oesophagus by aberrant right subclavian artery. A 33 year old female presents with a one year history of intermittent dysphagia with solid oral intake. Radiological findings confirm an extrinsic compression of oesophagus by an abberent right subclavian artery. We report a case to highlight the option of managing dysphagia lusoria conservatively.
