Abstract
Three cases of primary adenocarcinoma of jejunum are presented. The rarity of the tumour and the vague symptomatology on presentation in all the three cases resulted in problems in arriving at a correct preoperative diagnosis. Review of literature revealed similar difficulties in earlier reports and highlighted the need for a high index of suspicion and use of appropriate diagnostic techniques to make an early diagnosis to improve the overall outcome of this disease.
