Abstract

The article presents an overview of a study which provided an insight into which factors and features are most important to users in selecting, retaining or changing accounting software packages in the U.S. These results also support a finding that functionality and capability is the most important overall category for software selection, given that four of the top five most important features when changing software come from this category.
