Prophylactic probiotics for prevention of necrotizing enterocolitis in very low birth weight newborns

Abstract

Our study showed that enteral administration of prophylactic probiotics in neonatal intensive care setup could significantly reduce morbidity due to necrotising enterocolitis in very low birth weight newborn.
