Abstract

suggests that place exists even when the geographical location disappears, like a hosue that is torn down. the ghosts are still there creating a locus of thought, energy, et.; it relates to the trauma of a ploss of place; and placea ttachment and themeaning of home, and Gidden's theory of locale--the settins in which all social action must take place (Pun intended)
