Introduction: In a developing country, the study of the drive to achieve the academic goals set and its link with the perception of skills in the academic field turns out to be a relevant factor to understand the complex educational reality; therefore, the main objective of the research was to determine the relationship between achievement motivation and academic self-efficacy in students of administration and business majors.
