Abstract

The benefits of carbon dioxide, CO//2, are so widely known that the harmful aspects of high concentrations in the industrial and agricultural setting are often forgotten. This article examines the properties, sources, and hazards of CO//2 and discusses precautions and protective measures necessary to avoid accidents and possible detrimental health effects from CO//2 exposure.
