Abstract

Operational experience is the only true measure of the suitability of electrical winding insulation system in power equipment. An example of the winding technique is the use of MICALASTIC insulation system. This insulation technique has been employed for over 35 years for various applications, passing several development stages. Thus, because of its high life expectancy, its adaptability to various manufacturing processes and excellent insulation values, the MICALASTIC insulation system will continue to provide a reference for the reliability of the insulation of the rotating electrical machines. Continuing development work will ensure in the future, as it has done in the past, the application of the best available materials and manufacturing methods for the MICALASTIC insulation system.
