Analisis derivatif aspek ekonomi dan sosial nilai tambah Smart Fisheries Village Panembangan, Banyumas, Jawa Tengah

Abstract

Smart Fisheries Village (SFV) or Smart Fisheries Village is a program of the Indonesian Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries whose main activity is minapadi farming which takes into account local wisdom and aims to overcome limited land in fish cultivation and rice planting, increase the availability of food and animal protein, improve nutrition and family welfare. It is hoped that SFV can change the face of fishing villages to become more competitive because the economic activities therein become more diverse, such as tourist spots and the production of MSME products. The types of fish that are widely cultivated in the minapadi system, especially in the Central Java area, are Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), Nilem (Osteochilus vittatus), Mas (Cyprinus carpio). This research aims to analyze the derivative economic and social aspects of minapadi added value in SFV Panembangan Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative methods are used to research the conditions of natural objects, where the researcher is the key instrument while quantitative methods are used to process data. The results of the research show that minapadi cultivation consists of several processes, namely selecting the location, preparing land and containers, selecting rice and fish seeds, sowing rice seeds, planting rice, spreading fish seeds, fertilizing, weeding, water quality management, fish rearing, pest and disease control and fish harvesting. The value-added derivative of the minapadi system is leftover fish seeds which are processed into fish chips and ornamental fish feed as well as potential tourist attractions. Minapadi can minimize the risk of losing sources of income for farmers and fish cultivators.
