Abstract

Despite technological advances, its benefits are still not distributed equitably, widening the digital divide in primary education, where there are persistent shortcomings in infrastructure, resources, and teacher training. In this context, EDUARE was developed, an educational platform based on augmented reality (AR), designed to facilitate the creation of more dynamic and efficient content by teachers. The solution was built with a user-centered approach, integrating principles of usability, design thinking, and agile methodologies. To evaluate its impact, a pre-experimental study without a control group was implemented with 22 primary school teachers in Lima, Peru. Pre and post-test questionnaires validated by experts were administered, along with direct observation. The results showed statistically significant improvements in dynamism and efficiency, confirming the general hypothesis. EDUARE represents a significant contribution to reducing the digital divide through the use of emerging technologies with proven pedagogical impact.
