Abstract
The following text relates to leisure education as a key strategic space of intercultural development, and from the perspective of intercultural competences, some needs and nowadays training challenges are pointed out in this field. Fruit of recent research, some qualitative data are presented here as well as some strategies for the development and promotion of training in interculturality in leisure education.
