Abstract

Basketball is considered an intermittent sport, where players alternate between low, medium and high intensity actions and, therefore, both aerobic and anaerobic metabolism is used. One of the most decisive actions during competition is the jump ability, since it is utilized by players to execute specific actions during the offensive and defensive game, which suggests that this ability is a major factor in the success of this sport.
