Patterns of information seeking and library use by theologians in seven adelaide theological colleges

Abstract

In an attempt to develop, for theological librarians in particular, a replicable method for collecting quantitative and qualitative data on information-seeking behaviour and library use by theologians this research tests a set of questions and method of administration. It provides information on theologians in seven Adelaide theological colleges, derives data on the study and research habits of these theologians and analyzes data on their use of libraries. The research draws conclusions about the nature ofinformation use by theologians in relation to their libraries. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
