Abstract
The purpose of the research was to examine the effect of hexagon fraud on the academic cheating of UPN "Veteran" East Java accounting students. Quantitative approach with primary data as a data source through filling out questionnaires distributed to respondents. The population consisted of 161 students using random sampling techniques used in sampling by obtaining a sample of 62 students. The respondents in this study were UPN "Veteran" East Java accounting students. Data that has been collected from respondents' answers is processed using analysis techniques with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this study suggest that variables of pressure, ability, arrogance, and collusion cannot contribute to academic cheating. Meanwhile, odds and rationalization variables contribute to academic cheating.
