Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits of ICTs to support agricultural development. This study used qualitative research methods. The results of this study are, the application of ICT in the agricultural sector can reduce risk in business in agriculture. Because the presence of ICTs in the agricultural industry can make predictions more accurately, with various sources and decision support systems and expert systems that can be developed to support farmers in the decision-making process. This research was conducted to find out how influential the role of information and communication technology (ICT) is in the agricultural industry.
