Radiotherapy, an integral element in treating cancer, has experienced continuous advancements over the course of its historical evolution. The effectiveness of radiotherapy in achieving optimal tumor control and improving patient survival can be significantly influenced by a myriad of factors. This comprehensive literature review delves into the critical determinants shaping survival rates in radiation therapy.
