ANALISIS FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN STRATEGI KOPING PADA PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA DI KOTA SUNGAI PENUH TAHUN 2017

Abstract

Key Words : Strategi Koping Skizofrenia Abstract : Schizophrenia is one of the most common medical diagnoses of mental disorders and is a severe psychiatric disorder. The number of people with mental disorder in Sungai Penuh city is 199 (63,2%) people compared to 116 in Kerinci Regency (36,8%). Factors affecting the coping strategy include personal ability, positive beliefs, social support and material assets. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with coping strategies in patients with schizophrenia in Kota Sungai Penuh Year 2017. The type of research is descriptive analytics with cross sectional approach. Sampling in this study was simple random sample with 119 respondents. Data was collected using questionnaire and guided interview. Data analysis using chi-square test and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between personal ability, positive belief, and social support with coping strategy of schizophrenic patient (p-value <0.05), but no relationship between material asset and coping strategy (p-value> 0.05). The factors most closely related to coping strategies are positive belief (p-value = 0.022, OR = 0.686).
