Abstract
In 2 double blind, randomized cross over comparison studies undertaken in elderly subjects, a new quinazoline derivative, prazosin, was shown to be a safe and effective antihypertensive agent to which there is a progressive response over 4 to 6 wk periods of oral administration at fixed dose levels.
