Abstract

This study presents the results obtained by the Higher Education National Network of Formative Assessment during the academic year 2007-2008. This Network is made up of 60 teachers with different Degrees and from several Spanish Universities. Its main objective is to implement systems and processes of formative and shared assessment which allow to confront with guarantees the purposes and pedagogical principles that emerge from the European Higher Education Area. The used method corresponds to the survey of various cases. 34 cases referring to 14 universities and 9 degrees in Social Science and Humanities have been analyzed and different practices of formative and shared assessment. The results show the type of purposes, criteria of evaluation, procedures instruments and advantages weaknesses of these systems of evaluation.
