Abstract

In this present work, we investigated the structural, optical and morphological properties of Ag/ZnO Nanostructure prepared via modified polymer network sol-Gel method. Ag/ZnO nanostructures were synthesized with different initial concentrations of Ag precursor. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, FT-IR, UV, PL and FESEM analysis. The studies reveals that ZnO nanoparticles are belongs to Hexagonal phase structure and it is confirmed by XRD analysis. In the optical reflection spectra of Ag/ZnO Nanostructure, the surface Plasmon resonance peak appears due to Ag Nanoparticles at 398 nm and that confirms the incorporation of Ag+ ions in the ZnO lattice structure. The Tauc plot revealed that Band gap value of Ag/ZnO is smaller than pure ZnO. Moreover Ag/ZnO Nanostructure exhibited the enhanced optical property.
