Abstract

It has always been a problem for the hydraulic engineer to obtain reasonable values for the roughness in a waterway. The writer feels that the idea put forward in this essay could help the parcticing engineer to obtain a roughness value without complicated procedure. © 1966 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
