Abstract

This study aims to analyze the support provided by church leaders to youth with the potential to become pastors at Jemaat Mandiri Anugerah Binotik, a local church in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, focusing on spiritual, emotional, educational, and practical aspects. The research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive approach through surveys using Likert scale questionnaires. The findings indicate that spiritual support received the most positive responses. In contrast, educational and practical support still needs improvement, particularly in leadership training programs and more relevant practical experiences. Respondents rated emotional support positively, although they noted that leaders could improve the consistency of their availability. Overall, church leaders' support has positively impacted youth aspirations to become pastors, although external factors and limited understanding of the pastoral role remain challenging. This study contributes to the literature on church leadership development and recommends creating more structured, relevant, and experience-based training programs.
