Abstract

The crystal structure of myo-inositol dihydrate, C6H 12O62H2O, previously reported by Lomer, Miller & Beevers [Acta Cryst. (1963), 16, 264-268], has been redetermined, and the positions of the H atoms of the hydroxyl groups were located, showing an ordered hydrogen-bonding scheme. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography.
