Abstract

Cardiac involvement in dermatomyositis has been well described; myocarditis and cardiac arrhythmias are the most frequent manifestations. An 8‐year‐old girl is presented, who developed pericardial tamponade in the course of the disease. It is the first time this association has been reported. Copyright © 1992 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
