Abstract

Sustainability is a matter of utmost importance in the industries of all the sectors in the current scenario. Thus a study based on the different factors responsible for the sustainability is done. Hence three factors which affect sustainability are considered they are Green (environmental factors), Lean manufacturing(waste minimization) and Six Sigma (zero defects). Sub factors to all this factors are also selected. These factors and their sub factors are than prioritized by the proportion or percentage to which they affect the sustainability of the organization. These factors are given ratings from the industries and these ratings are further utilized to determine the priority ratios. The prioritization is done by using Fuzzy and Fuzzy AHP processes.
